Salmon Caesar salad is a 30min decadent weeknight meal - The flavours work perfectly for a healthy LCHF or Keto meal, it's heart smart and leftovers make the perfect packed lunch.
Place the cheese in the TM bowl. Grate 3 sec/Speed 9.
Reserve in a small bowl for later.
Add the internal basket to the TM bowl with the eggs inside.
Add hot tap water to TM bowl. Place the lid on top (MC OUT).
Layer the Varoma tray on the TM bowl lid. Place the salmon fillets in the Varoma ensuring that some steaming holes are visible. Steam 17min/Varoma/Speed 2.
Meanwhile, dry fry the bacon over a medium heat until crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Reserve.
On a large serving platter add chopped lettuce, sliced cucumber and diced onion.
Arrange the bacon and half the cheese over the greens.
Peel the boiled eggs under cold water to prevent burns and slice the eggs over the salad.
Flake the salmon over the salad and add the remainder of the cheese.
Serve the dressing on the side.
Notes
If baby cos lettuce isn't available regular cos or Romaine lettuce can be substituted.Leftovers can be refrigerated and made into a packed lunch. Just ensure the dressing is kept in a jar and added when serving.
