Homemade Spreadable Butter Thermomix

Silky, salty spreadable homemade butter. This super easy butter recipe uses regular fresh pouring cream to produce delicious, rich no additive butter. Thermomix recipe or make in your food processor or mixer.

Instructions
Pour cream into TM Bowl
Secure the butterfly into position. Whip 2 min/Speed 4
Check that the cream has split and butter has seperated from the buttermilk. If not repeat.
Remove the butterfly and place the internal steam basket into the TM Bowl.
Pour off all the buttermilk into a container and reserve.
remove the internal steam basket and add 500ml cold water.
Whip the butter and the water. 5 sec/Speed 4
Discard the liquid from the bowl.
Add the remaining cold water and repeat to completely wash the butter.
Wash 5 sec/Speed 4.
Discard the liquid from the bowl.
Place the butterfly in the TM bowl.
Add salt and oil to the butter. Whip 15sec/Speed 4.
Place in a container in the fridge.

Thoroughly washing the butter twice will extend the life of the butter.
