Apple Crumble is a luscious soft cooked apple dessert with a crunchy, sweet granola style crumble Preparing the crumble in the Thermomix makes it even easier than ever!
Place apple in an even layer over the base of a large baking dish
800 g pie apples (canned)
Add sultanas evenly to the top of the apples - If using
2 tablespoon sultanas
OR if not using the sultanas, scatter berries over the apple
100 g frozen berries
Crumble
Place butter, sugar, cinnamon and ginger in TM Bowl. Melt 3min/Varoma/Speed 1
120 g salted butter, 85 g brown sugar, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, ½ teaspoon ground ginger
Add all the remaining ingredients to the bowl.
215 g rolled oats, 100 g walnuts, 50 g macadamia nuts, 40 g shredded coconut, 25 g pepita seeds, 25 g pinenuts, 25 g sunflower seeds
Combine ingredient using Dough Mode 2 minutes.
Distribute the crumble topping over the apple filling.
Bake 30 minutes or until golden
