Thermomix white rice, perfect and fluffy every time! It's easy when you know how!! I have a few tips and tricks to share. Recipe suitable for all machines.
300gwhite riceJasmine, basmati, or white long grain rice
1000gwaterregular tap water
Instructions
Place the internal simmering basket on the lid of the Thermomix.
Tare the scales to 0 and weigh 300g of rice into the basket.

Take the rice basket over to the sink and rinse under cold running water. Gently move the rice around the basket until all the starch has been washed off the rice.
Place the basket into the Thermomix.
Add 1000g of water to the TM Bowl.

Cook 20min/Varoma/Speed 4. (TM5 and TM6)Cook 20min/120 degC./Speed 4 (TM7)
Once the rice is cooked use the spatula to remove the internal simmering basket from the TM Bowl.
Notes
Rinsing the rice removes the powdery white starch, which can make the rice gluggy.This recipe is suitable for all white rice, and long short grain.
