Thermomix salted pecan pie bliss balls have all the deliciousness of a pecan pie but take less than 5 minutes to prepare. These nutrient-dense bliss balls are packed with vitamins, fibre and healthy fats. The perfect sweet and salty snack to get you through until dinner.

When we’re busy it’s so tempting to grab a commercially prepared snack even though we know the ingredients will provide no nutritional value or benefit to our body. That’s where these bliss balls are different. They’re so quick and easy to make, even your kids could help!

Pecan Pie Bliss Balls are a snack which helps you to achieve some of your body’s daily nutrient needs!

Although this is a Thermomix recipe the Pecan Pie Bliss Balls can be made in any high powered blender or food processor. As the images below show, it’s simply a matter of adding the ingredients to the machine, then processing until the desired texture has been achieved.

Salted Pecan Pie Bliss Balls – Substitute Ingredients

    • Walnuts can be substituted for some or all the pecans if required.
    • Substitute an additional medjool date if you don’t have maple syrup.

Thermomix Salted Pecan Pie Bliss Balls

Thermomix salted pecan pie bliss balls have all the deliciousness of a pecan pie but take less than 5 minutes to prepare.

Equipment

  • 1 Thermomix or high powered blender, food processor

Ingredients
 
 

  • 200 g pecan nuts
  • 35 g desiccated coconut
  • 2 TBS black chia
  • 3 medjool dates
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt *up to 1/2 a tsp can be used
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 2 tsp maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in the TM bowl. Blend 10 sec/Speed 7.
  • Scrape down the bowl. Blend 15 sec/Speed 7.
  • Repeat if necessary
  • Using a tablespoon measure, scoop out the mixture and form into 14 bliss balls. 
  • Keep refrigerated until serving.

Notes

This recipe can be made in any high powered blender or food processor. Place all the ingredients in the machine and process until the desired consistency has been achieved.
