It's a well know fact amongst my friends that I hoard cookbooks and cooking magazines! My pantry is better stocked than most bookstores. Once I purchased my Thermomix I had a real dilemma, there were so few recipes published for the Thermomix! How would I manage?
Firstly I started to develop my own recipes. This is how ThermoKitchen the website was born! Then I started to write Thermomix recipes based on my travels. I produced "An Indian ThermoKitchen" "A Mexican Fiesta" and An Asian Banquet".

I have also made it a habit to follow and support other fabulous Thermomix Recipe developers such as Alyce Alexandra and Megan Ellam from Mad Creations. They each bring something unique to Thermomix Cooking.

Then along came Cookidoo and we finally started to get some recipes from the manufacturer. I still like to have variety in my cooking and eating, so I choose Thermomix recipes from loads of different sources.
Thermomix are now producing a bi-annual magazine. This is full of fabulous recipes each edition. I have cooked many things from the three publications already.
Those that join me on facebook would know that I have been cooking the cover for each magazine release.
I have also enjoyed hosting some cookalongs with recipes from the magazine. I'm dying to see what will be in the next one.
I decided to write this article because I have been flicking through my back issues of the Thermomix magazine and I was impressed all over again. I have made so many recipes on the pages! It contains loads of variety and different styles of recipe. It's the type of read that you can always come back to and find something new that you have previously missed. Oh and you have to love reading the interviews and the "how to" tips.
There' also plenty of recipes for those nights where an elaborate TM meal is not on the cards. Simple, healthy clean recipes, or family friendly dishes with images that inspire you to get into the kitchen and "cook up a storm."
My justification for purchasing Thermomix cookbooks and magazines is that after spending $2000+ on a machine, I want to maximise my use and enjoyment my Thermie. I find that searching for a recipe using the online community page it's just too hard. Whereas browsing a magazine or cookbook designed especially for the Thermomix is enjoyable, inspiring and relaxing.
