Garlic sauce is one of the most delicious sauces when you use the correct ingredients! I just happen to know how to make this sauce absolutely flavour filled!

Having a few sauce recipes up your sleeve is always handy. It helps when you're asked the age-old question "what's for dinner" and you don't want to go to the shops! I have a red sauce recipe, otherwise known as a Napoletana sauce on the website which is great for a pizza or pasta sauce. Another favourite is Pesto! I always have basil growing so dinner is just a few pulses of the Thermomix away.
Today I am sharing another very versatile sauce recipe. It's a creamy garlic sauce! This is so full of flavour I guarantee you will want to have it with everything! Best of all it is SUPER QUICK!
How to use my Creamy Garlic Sauce
So I have already said to put it on everything, but I will be more specific.
- Add sauteed prawns to the sauce and serve with your own homemade basic pasta, garnish with parmesan cheese & lemon zest.
- Add sauteed mushrooms to the sauce and serve over steak.
- Spoon over grilled chicken and garnish with spears of asparagus.
- Use the garlic sauce as a white pizza sauce. Here is the pizza dough recipe I used for this Garlic Prawn Pizza.
Serving Garlic Sauce with Pasta
Did you know you can cook spaghetti in the Thermomix? If you plan to serve the garlic sauce with pasta why not cook it in either the Thermomix or the Thermoserver? Ingredients & Substitute Products
This recipe has very simple ingredients that you are likely to have in your fridge or pantry. My first preference is for everyone to use exactly what I have specified in the recipe. This way it will taste exactly as I intended. If you have a health issue and you need to substitute ingredients then the recipe will still work but the more substitutions that are made the more deviation there will be in taste.
- Fresh Garlic Cloves *see note in FAQ
- Mild Oil
- Salted butter - unsalted butter is fine if sodium levels are a concern
- Plain flour - GF Corn Flour will work
- Massel Chicken Stock Powder * see note in FAQ
- Cracked Black Pepper
- Salt - can be omitted if sodium levels are a concern
- Garlic Powder
- Full Cream Milk - skim milk will still work
- Cream

FAQ About Garlic Cream Sauce
Absolutely! This is a good idea if the sauce needs to be reheated as it will thicken over time.
Yes, there is enough flavour in the sauce to serve with ravioli.
Massel Chicken stock was selected because it is a plant-based product with nothing artificial.
Yes, simply seal the sauce in an airtight container. When you reheat the sauce add an additional 60ml milk to the mixture and heat until it reaches 80 degrees on speed 4.
You can store the sauce in the fridge for 5 days.
I would really rather you didn't make this swap. There are only a few ingredients in this recipe so the fresh garlic flavour is important. BUT, if you want to you can.

Creamy Garlic Sauce
Equipment
Ingredients
- 20 g oil mild
- 15 g garlic cloves fresh
- 40 g salted butter
- 40 g plain flour
- 1 TBS Massel Chicken Stock Powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ยผ teaspoon cracked black pepper
- ยผ teaspoon salt
- 200 g cream
- 200 g milk full cream
Instructions
- Add garlic and oil to TM Bowl. Mince 3 sec/Speed 920 g oil, 15 g garlic cloves
- Scrape down the bowl. Saute 5 min/Varoma/Speed 1 (MC OUT)
- Add butter and flour. Saute 5 min/Varoma/Speed 3 (MC OUT)40 g salted butter, 40 g plain flour
- Add all remaining ingredients. Cook 7 min/100/Speed 41 TBS Massel Chicken Stock Powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, ยผ teaspoon cracked black pepper, ยผ teaspoon salt, 200 g cream, 200 g milk, 20 g oil
- Increase time by 2 minutes if 100 degrees has not been reached.
- Use as required.

Amazing! Randomly found this on line and had a good review. Added it to our surf and turf with potatoes and veggies - delicious! It does thicken/ get a skin on it quickly but as stated, can thin it again and it doesnโt leave you with a โskin tasteโ if you give it a stir. Yum!!! Will be saving this to use again.

I finally found the best creamy garlic sauce!! I used this sauce with some cooked pasta, shredded chicken and steamed broccoli in a pasta bake. Absolutely perfect!
