Fast Healthy Salmon Burger Weeknight Meal

Salmon Burgers are a super quick weeknight meal idea. Serve with a salad or on a brioche roll for a delicious burger.
- 415 gm canned pink salmon
- 130 gm parmasen cheese
- 60 gm onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 long red chilli optional
- 1 lime juice only
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp salt
Using the internal steam basket, drain the liquid off the salmon (over the sink). Discard liquid.
Place the parmesan cheese in the TM bowl. Grate 4 sec/Speed 7.5. Reserve in a bowl.
Add the onion, garlic and chill to the TM bowl. Chop 3 sec/Speed 9.
Scrape down the TM bowl. Repeat. Chop 3 sec/Speed 9.
Scrape down the bowl. Add egg, breadcrumbs, lime juice, salt, salmon and reserve cheese. Combine 10sec/Speed 4.5.

The Thermomix makes these salmon burgers a great weeknight option. The machine does all the chopping and processing for you! This allows the salmon burger mixture to be made in under 5 minutes. Another time-saving option would be to prepare the salmon mixture into burger patties in the morning and then fry them when you’re ready to eat.
You can serve these salmon patties on a brioche roll with salad and a yoghurt dressing or skip the roll and have a lighter salmon patty salad.
