Free Thermomix Recipes -The Best Version isn't on Cookidoo

If you are a new owner, you will especially want to know the recipe you have chosen is easy and a tried-and-tested meal. That's where websites like mine are ideal. I have been writing recipes for the Thermomix for 10 years and before that for regular cooks. I know good taste, and I won't turn your ingredients into mush.

My best free Thermomix recipes can even be found on YouTube, so you can watch as I make them with you.

Trying to piece together AI recipes or find old static recipe downloads may seem easy, but it can be a waste of time and valuable ingredients. Instead, bookmarking a live, continuously updated digital index gives you instant access to hundreds of reliable meals without any hidden costs.

At ThermoKitchen, we test every single meal across the TM31, TM5, TM6 and now the TM7. We are your Cookidoo alternative. You can cook with absolute confidence. Here are the top free recipes and some hacks that have been driving the most traffic to our kitchen this week.

Why You Don't Want a Thermomix Recipe PDF

Why You Don't Actually Want a Thermomix Recipe PDF

I really don't like seeing static recipe printouts or PDFs sent around the community or shared on social media. Here are my main reasons why:

  1. Recipes evolve over time: As recipe developers, we are always looking for better ways to write a step, tweak an ingredient, or add a special touch. When you print a recipe and stick it in a folder, you miss out on all the extra information that page gains over time. I might add an interesting dietary variation, realize I can chop 10 minutes off the cook time, or find a better hack to get dinner on the table faster.
  2. It hurts independent creators: When recipes are photographed, emailed, or screenshotted to other users, no one visits the original site housing that work. Providing a home for hundreds of recipes is incredibly expensive. Websites need visitors to remain sustainable.
  3. Model compatibility matters: There may be a completely different cooking method for someone using an older TM31 compared to the cutting-edge TM7. Unless an individual visits the live website, they will never know.
  4. Crucial tips get lost: When a recipe is carelessly copied and pasted into a text thread, a vital tip or trick usually gets left out. This causes the dish to fail or taste less than ideal, which reflects badly on the developer.

So please share live website links to your favourite dishes, not static recipe PDF, photos or scribbled instructions. Let's support all independent food bloggers!

Quick Weeknight Dinners That Beat Takeaway

The holy grail of thermal cooking is getting a healthy, family-friendly, easy Thermomix dinner on the table in under half an hour.

The 20-Minute Teriyaki Chicken

If you love Japanese takeaway but want to skip the nasty preservatives, this is your new go-to recipe.

The single biggest complaint I hear about cooking chicken breast in a thermal cooker is that the blades shred the meat. Our recipe uses a specific technique to keep the chicken tender and completely intact. Plus, I've included a great tip on how to steam your favorite vegetables directly alongside the meat.

High-Volume Comfort Food Staples

When the weather cools down, search volumes spike for hearty, warming bowls. These are the easy Thermomix recipes that prove your machine is worth every dollar and every inch of counter space.

The Ultimate Creamy Pumpkin Soup

Forget watery, bland soups. This version maximizes the built-in blending power of your machine to create a thick, velvety texture without needing ANY heavy cream. It is officially one of the most highly searched free Thermomix recipes for a reason.

I even served this dish at a function for 150 people. It was the recipe everyone wanted!

  • Chinese Chicken and Sweet Corn Soup

Foolproof Thermomix Hacks & Basic Techniques

Many owners are hesitant to use their machines for basic staples because they are afraid of a cleaning nightmare, ruined textures or just the familiarity of what they have always done. We love solving these everyday kitchen pain points.

How to Cook Perfect Spaghetti Without the Chop

Can you really boil long pasta directly in the bowl? Yes-if you know the right settings. We break down the exact time, temperature, and blade direction needed to ensure your pasta emerges perfectly al dente every single time.

Best of all, you don't even need to be in the kitchen and watch that the water doesn't boil over!

  • Spaghetti Pasta in the Thermomix
  • Perfect White Rice

So many people come to me saying they can't cook white rice in the Thermomix?? When I investigate, I usually find it is because there are 100 different ways to cook rice on Cookidoo?? Don't ask me why!! Worst of all, none of them cooks rice the way I do. Which, by the way, is the only correct way to cook rice.

Basic Techniques you need in your life

  • Basic Mayonaise
  • Gourmet Truffle Aioli

FYI, neither mayonasie or aioli was ever meant to be commercially produced and sit on a shelf for years at a time. I'm sorry if I'm being a food snob, but it is true.

Free Thermomix Recipes FAQ

Will I keep the recipes already downloaded on my Thermomix from Cookidoo?

No, I'm very sorry, the recipes are rented. Once you let your subscription go they will eventually disappear from your machine.

Can I upload ThermoKitchen recipes on to Cookidoo created recipes?

No you can't. Vorwerk and Cookidoo have exclusive rights to any recipes and images that are added to cookidoo. This means you can be sued for adding recipes if you didn't develope it yourself. (It is in the VERY fine print)

Can I upload magazine recipes on to Cookidoo created recipes?

Nope, for the same reason, Cookidoo can claim them as their own and profit from your mistake whilst you are sued by the magazine corporation.

Why are so many recipes repeated on Cookidoo? I forget which recipe worked & which didn't! Even the pictures are the same!

Each Thermomix country has submitted recipes. When Cookidoo was being built it combined all the recipes from each country. A lot of countries were using the same images, but slightly different recipes. Or different images, for the same recipe.

Why are there advertisements on your website?

It costs me many thousands of dollars per year to keep my website up and running. I don't get paid for 98% of my work. The advertisments you see pay for some of the costs.

Do you have any other thoughts on how Cookidoo recipes vary from foodblogger recipes?

In my opinion, Cookidoo recipes aim to please the majority by erring on the bland side and using minimal ingredients. This means if you want an authentic tasting, spicy dish, a vegan, vegetarian or something a little more interesting you should look to a trusted food blogger. If you want an inspired Keto recipe, Mad Creations is your girl.

Hi, I'm Julie, a recipe developer, published cookbook author, and registered nutritionist. My first love has always been cooking and food. I discovered Thermomix in 2014 and loved it so much I became a consultant for the brand.
